A handheld induction head takes the coil to the joint when the part cannot come to a bench. The catalogue JLS series is 10 kW, 30 kW and 60 kW on three-phase 380 V, 50/60 Hz. Flexible cable is listed from about 3 m, and the 10 kW model allows a longer cable. Heating-head weight is about 1.5 kg, 2.5 kg and 3.5 kg. Jobs include motor-wire brazing, compressor copper tube, refrigerator and air-conditioning tubing, and other field joints. Cable length can be ordered to the site. This is a heating tool, not a melting furnace.
