How Induction Heating Works
Induction heating puts an alternating current through a coil. The coil builds an alternating magnetic field. Metal inside that field carries eddy current and heats quickly, without a flame on the surface. The same principle runs the melting furnaces, brazing stations, hardening machines and forging heaters in this catalogue. Frequency decides how deep the heat goes. Power decides how fast the workpiece reaches temperature. The furnace body or the coil shape decides how much metal, or which zone of a part, actually gets hot.

What to check before you enquire
- Heat starts in the metal, not in a burner.
- Frequency is chosen for surface heating or through heating.
- The coil is made for one family of parts.
- 220 V and 380 V, 50/60 Hz are the common catalogue supplies.
Typical applications
- Melting
- Brazing
- Hardening
- Forging
- Annealing
